It seems to be a widely held opinion that the TS 250 represents some sort of 'sweet spot' for MZ two strokes, with adequate power, delivered over a wide rev range, and reasonable fuel consumption. I had hoped to experience this for myself in 2020 but we all know what happened there.

Cost £200 and half a day to fit, very easy and worthwhile upgrade, but not necessary. Indicators are poor, as usual for 6V electrics. Would recommend LED replacements, cheap and easy.
